Twitter is in negotiations to buy ZipDial, a startup founded in India that has honed in on a mobile use case that is unique to its home market and others like it.

What is ZipDial?
ZipDial is a Startup Idea based on an opportunity to convert MISSED CALL into a business model. lot of residents in India use prepaid cellphones. Each connected call and sent text costs money; therefore the missed call was born. ZipDial allows people to call the friends number and disconnect without getting charged. After that, the person is sent a text message with communication about deals, coupons or any other messages that the business wants to convey. ZipDial clientele includes Gillette, Disney , Greenpeace and more for customer feddbacks. ZipDial offers variety of services like CricketDial for live scores , real world campaigns etc.,

Why ZipDial founders believed in "MISSED CALLS" ?
While only 4 percent of users have smartphones and fewer than 50 percent even know how to send text messages, 100 percent of users love dialing “missed calls.”

What is this deal worth?
As per sources that it has already closed, and is in the region of $30 million – $40 million (Rs 186-248 crore)
