Wearable and Fitness startup GOQii has raised Series A funding worth $13.2 million led by New Enterprise Associates and Cheetah Mobile with with additional support from Great Wall Club (GWC), DSG Consumer Partners, Ilkka Paananen and Pravin Gandhi.
The unique GOQii proposition includes a wearable agnostic app, guidance from global experts, coaching counsel and the ability to support a cause that matters to users. The fitness tracking app integrates with 35 other fitness bands like Jawbone, Fitbit, Garmin, Moov, Misfit and Sony. GOQii sells its own fitness trackers, but its main focus is a cloud-based platform that sends data to real coaches, who then provide feedback to help users meet their health goals.
