Arnab Goswami's Startup Venture named ‘Republic'


Disrupting and radical prime time News Anchor Arnab Goswami confirmed to media the name, nature, and a few other details about his independent news venture.

What's the name of Arnab Goswami's new TV Channel?
Arnab told "My venture is called ‘Republic’; I seek the support of the people of India.”

When is Republic TV channel launching date? 
Arnab said that it is a work-in-progress and he is aiming to start airing before the upcoming crucial Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections in the first quarter of 2017.

About Arnab Goswami 
Mr. Goswami started his career at The Telegraph in Kolkata. Within a year, in 1995, he joined NDTV where he was one of the more prominent faces along with Vikram Chandra and Rajdeep Sardesai. He later joined Times Now as its Editor-in-Chief in 2006. He was known for direct interrogative style of debates and bringing his own unique style of TV journalism into India. Goswami had resigned from Times Now on November 1 and Rahul Shivshankar has since taken over as Editor In Chief of that channel.
